After 25 years in the New Zealand Public Service, I needed a change! Since I love sport, and love exercising, becoming a Fitness Instructor was a no-brainer! Here's a short list of what I bring to exercise classes:

  • First, I'm a qualified fitness instructor, and am REPs-registered.  
  • I'm a runner - anything from 5km upwards. I've done two marathons and numerous half-marathons. I'm currently training to run the Gold Coast Marathon in July.
  • I've played rep netball (a long time ago!), and I still play the odd quarter for my team in a low grade....
  • I coach junior cricket and netball, and have some basic coaching qualifications - still adding to them!
  • I'm on the committee of the Wellington Marathon Clinic - feel free to join us one Sunday!
  • I work part-time as a support worker for people with disabilities, and concentrate on improving their fitness.
  • In a past life, I was a high school teacher, so I really enjoy working wth groups!
